Sponsorship FAQ

Who can apply?
Anyone who makes content for a public audience of at least 500 followers and has a public, active account. We approve sponsors at our discretion, so meeting the requirements does not guarantee approval.

What is the follower minimum?
500 followers on the main platform you list in your application.

What counts as a public, active account?
Public means anyone can view your posts without following you or requesting access. Active means you post new content regularly and have posted recently.

How does the commission work?
You earn 10% of net sales tracked to you through Shopify Collabs. Net sales are the order amount after discounts, not including taxes or shipping. Returned, refunded, or cancelled orders do not earn commission.

How do customers get the 5% discount?
Shopify Collabs gives each approved sponsor a link and a discount code. Customers get 5% off when they use either one.

Is free product guaranteed?
No. Free product is not part of the program by default. If we offer product, it is a perk based on performance, offered at our discretion.

How do perks work?
Perks can include product, a higher commission rate, or early access to new items. We decide who gets a perk and when, based on how your content performs. A perk is not a promise of another one later.

How does tracking work?
Sales are tracked through Shopify Collabs using your link or discount code. If a sale is not tracked by Shopify Collabs, it does not earn commission.

Do I need a Shopify Collabs account?
Tracking and payouts run through Shopify Collabs. If you are not on Collabs yet, say so in your application and we will follow up.

How long does review take?
We review applications as they come in. We do not promise a response time.

How do I get paid?
Through Shopify Collabs. Payout timing follows Shopify Collabs.

Do I have to disclose that I am a sponsor?
Yes. Every post that promotes Morgan Mountain must clearly say so, using #ad or your platform's paid partnership label. See the Sponsorship Terms.

Can I apply with more than one account?
Apply once, with your main account, and list your other accounts in the form. The 500 follower minimum applies to your main account.
